I was born on the 27 February 1979 in Winterthur, Switzerland.
During the apprenticeship as a forwarding merchant, I encountered
pornography for the first time. I had held a fascination for it
since a long time, but I didn't only use it to jerk off to it, I
also memorized the names of the movies, the actresses, the
directors, the labels and I absolutely wanted to know more about
the world behind the scenes.
My idols to this day remain
Rodney Moore,
Seymore Butts and
John Stagliano, better known as
Buttman. The three of them have one thing in common, they
implemented their ideas with their own money and a lot of
motivation. You can't deny certain influences by
Pierre Woodman, whose castings
have gained somewhat of a cult status and therefore are a great
inspiration.
Since I launched
michaelryan.tv in the summer 2004
it has become one of the biggest exclusive party-sites in the
German-speaking area that is updated regularly. It was the only
party-site with exclusive videos in Switzerland for a long time. I
changed the domain from
michaelryan.tv to
michaelryan.ch to emphasize the
Swissness of the site. |
In May
2004 I decided to become active in the porno business myself, so I
founded my own label
NetDevil Productions.
My first few shoots took place in June 2004 in a hotel in
Amsterdam. Angel, Kaatje, Laura and Kathleen stopped by one after
the other. After these shoots I had spent my first few days as a
porn-producer. After that, the wheel started rolling and I shot
with up to 10 models per month.
In the summer of 2005, I joined
Orgazmik
and we decided to release my first DVD „Das
Beste aus michaelryan.tv“.
Shortly after that, we released „Unterwegs
in Zürich“
that has become a cult-film in Switzerland.
Since that date I do administrative work for the leading online
merchant, I register movies to the shop,
write reviews and bring in
some ideas and contacts so we can develop together. In June 2008 I
joined the team at
Mascotte Film in Zurich. They own
the labels
Magmafilm
and
Tabu & Love Film. |
At the
beginning of my self-employment career in 2004 I didn't really
have a defined goal. It was more of a curiosity that made me want
to move things in the branche. To this day I have been portrayed
on
TV
a few times, e.g. a half-hour prime-time interview on
TeleZüri.
I have been featured in
SonntagsZeitung
and
TagesAnzeiger
and the Swiss erotic magazine
Cherry
covers my activities regularly. Especially in the last few months,
I have been talking to the media a lot. This time it's rather due
to my knowledge and person than due to the persona Michael Ryan.
I am being talked to on the street in Winterthur and Zurich. More
people recognize me. I have released 9
DVDs
that have served as topics of conversation in the Swiss porn scene.
After a long break I have restarted shooting in December 2008. I
have planned to feature new
Girls
on the website and to release some new
DVDs.
